To further enhance the discipline construction of nuclear medicine, gather experts and scholars in related fields, and better carry out academic research and exchanges, on October 18, 2025, the founding conference of the Nuclear Medicine Professional Committee and the first academic annual meeting were successfully held in Chengdu, jointly organized by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the Third People's Hospital of Chengdu. This conference attracted nearly a hundred experts and scholars from the field of nuclear medicine to attend, witness the establishment of the special committee together, and conduct in-depth discussions on core issues such as the clinical application, quality management, and discipline construction of nuclear medicine.
01、The founding conference of the Nuclear Medicine Specialized Committee
On the morning of October 18th, representatives from various medical institutions in the field of nuclear medicine both within and outside the province attended the founding conference of the Nuclear Medicine Specialized Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. The conference, through deliberation, democratically elected the standing committee members, chairperson, vice-chairpersons and other leadership teams of the Nuclear Medicine Professional Committee. Professor Cheng Zhuzhong from Sichuan Cancer Hospital was specially appointed as the honorary chairperson of the special committee, and Professor Gao Jin from Chengdu Third People's Hospital was elected as the first chairperson of the special committee. Professor CAI Liang from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Professor Duan Yun from Sichuan Cancer Hospital, Professor Guo Jia from Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital, Professor Li Junpeng from Chengdu Third People's Hospital, Professor Yang Fuzhou from Ya 'an People's Hospital, Professor Yang Xing from Sichuan Science City Hospital, and Professor Zhao Zhen from West China Hospital of Sichuan University were elected as the vice chairpersons of the special committee (in alphabetical order of their surnames). The appointment letter for the chairperson was issued Professor Cheng Zhuzhong, the honorary chairperson, emphasized in his speech that nuclear medicine is an important component of the modern medical service system. The establishment of the special committee will effectively promote the standardized and normalized development of nuclear medicine in this region. Professor Ai He, vice president and deputy secretary-general of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, delivered a speech on behalf of the association at the conference. 成都高新医学会副会长兼副秘书长 艾禾 教授 At the meeting, the Party Working Group of the Nuclear Medicine Special Committee was established simultaneously. The Party branch of the society agreed that Comrade Li Junpeng, Comrade Lu Hao and Comrade Zhao Zhen would form the Party Working group of the Special Committee. Comrade Li Junpeng would serve as the group leader, Comrade Zhao Zhen would be responsible for discipline inspection and organizational work, and Comrade Lu Hao would be responsible for publicity work. 02、Academic Conference of the Nuclear Medicine Specialized Committee After the founding conference, the academic conference officially kicked off.
