To enhance the clinical diagnosis and treatment level of pelvic floor and anal diseases in the region, promote appropriate technologies, disseminate cutting-edge concepts, and advance discipline development, the "2025 Academic Conference of the Pelvic Floor and Anorectal Committee" was successfully held on December 6, 2025. The conference was hosted by the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association, organized by its Pelvic Floor and Anorectal Committee, and co-organized by Sichuan Anorectal Hospital.
Opening Ceremony
At the opening ceremony of the conference, Professor Xu Hong, Chair of the Pelvic Floor and Anorectal Committee of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association, delivered a speech. Professor Xu emphasized that advancing discipline development must focus on tangible outcomes and sustainability. Addressing complex issues requires collaborative deliberation, which plays a crucial role. The discipline should actively respond to the deepening needs of related research and strive to improve and upgrade the public health system.
