To build an academic exchange platform in the field of thyroid, gather the wisdom of industry experts, and promote the standardized development and technological progress of the discipline, the second re-election conference of the Thyroid Specialized Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the Fourth Academic Annual Conference were grandly held in Chengdu on December 12-13, 2025, hosted by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and organized by West China Hospital of Sichuan University.
01 【The election meeting for new terms】 On the evening of December 12th, the second term election meeting of the Thyroid Professional Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was successfully held. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Charter of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association" and the "Management Measures for Academic Organizations of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association", and with the approval of the Secretariat of the association, the election for the new term will be carried out strictly in accordance with the organizational procedures and requirements for the election. The meeting reported on the recommendation status and qualification review reports of 97 candidates for committee members. Through democratic election, the leadership team of the second special committee was elected. Professor Su Anping from West China Hospital of Sichuan University was re-elected as the chairperson of the second special committee. The deputy chairpersons are: Professor Deng Xian from the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, Professor Huang Yunhui from Suining Central Hospital, Professor Ni Banggao from Deyang People's Hospital, Professor Ren Zhangxia from Guang 'an People's Hospital, Professor Sheng Jianfeng from Mianyang Third People's Hospital, Professor Wang Haobin from Chengdu Sixth People's Hospital, and Professor Wang Xiaofei from West China Hospital of Sichuan University (in alphabetical order of their surnames). Comrade Su Anping serves as the head of the Party work group, Comrade Hu Ling is in charge of discipline inspection and organizational work, and Comrade Ni Banggao is responsible for publicity work. 02 【Academic Annual Conference】 On the morning of December 13th, the fourth academic annual meeting of the second Thyroid Specialized Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was officially opened. The conference specially invited authoritative experts in the field of thyroid disease diagnosis and treatment to give lectures in full, focusing on core topics such as cutting-edge technologies in thyroid disease diagnosis and treatment, precise treatment strategies, and key and difficult points in clinical diagnosis and treatment. This is to help participants update their diagnosis and treatment concepts, enrich clinical practices, and build consensus through inheritance and discussion, jointly empowering the high-quality development of the thyroid discipline.
