      To enhance the standardized diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of urologists in primary healthcare institutions, the 2025 Academic Conference of the Urology Committee was held in Chengdu on December 20,2025. Organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, hosted by Sichuan Cancer Hospital, and co-organized by the Urology Committee of the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, the conference attracted over 50 expert representatives in person. The event invited renowned urology experts from within and outside the province to discuss the development of urological disciplines and the improvement of urological clinical skills. The conference featured presentations and lectures on topics related to prostate cancer and bladder cancer, providing in-depth analyses of the unique knowledge systems and cutting-edge advancements in each field.     The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Liao Hong from Sichuan Cancer Hospital. Professor Liao Hong stated that the work of the Second Committee has been steadily advancing on the platform of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, with continuous efforts in the field of urology. Professor Liao Hong extended a warm welcome to all experts and wished the conference a successful outcome. Professor Wei Qiang from West China Hospital of Sichuan University delivered the opening speech for the conference. Professor Wei Qiang expressed his honor in being invited to address the 2025 Academic Conference of the Urology Committee of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, acknowledging the outstanding contributions made by the Committee under the leadership of Chairman Liao Hong over the past year. He expressed hope for more timely, comprehensive, and inspiring exchanges among peers. Professor Dong Qiang from West China Hospital of Sichuan University also addressed the conference, emphasizing that participants should strengthen academic exchanges through today's thematic report sharing and expert discussions, which would further promote the advancement of medical practice. He looked forward to using this conference as a bridge to bring more innovative achievements from the frontier to clinical practice! Professor Qiu Mingxing from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital highly valued the organization of this conference and expressed great expectations. Professor Qiu noted that the topics of the thematic reports were highly significant, covering cutting-edge issues and hot topics, and he eagerly anticipated engaging in an in-depth academic exchange with all participating experts.  Professor Ai He, Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude on behalf of the association to all the experts for their presence. Vice President Ai He stated that under the leadership of Chairman Professor Liao Hong and the guidance of Professors Wei Qiang, Dong Qiang, and Qiu Mingxing, the committee has carried forward its legacy and made continuous progress, organizing increasingly successful events while vigorously promoting science popularization and publicity. The committee has actively responded to and implemented the new "Belt and Road" initiative. As a major platform, the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association will continue to provide excellent services for experts and wishes the conference a complete success.     The conference focused on two core topics: the development of urology as a discipline and the enhancement of professional skills. During the special report session, several renowned domestic urology experts provided in-depth interpretations and shared insights on the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases, standardized pathways, and multidisciplinary collaboration models, with a focus on prostate cancer and bladder cancer.  The conference specially arranged a case study discussion session, where real clinical scenarios were analyzed and interactive discussions were held to help physicians improve their clinical decision-making and practical skills.  Participants actively contributed their views and exchanged experiences, creating a strong academic atmosphere that effectively bridged theory and practice.  Professor Qiu Mingxing, Chairman of the Second Urology Committee of the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, delivered a concluding speech: "This conference not only provided a high-level academic exchange platform for urology professionals but also fostered consensus on promoting the standardized and regulated development of the discipline."  The attending experts called for continued efforts to strengthen the construction of specialized training systems, promote standardized diagnosis and treatment protocols, and deepen regional collaboration to jointly advance the implementation of the "Healthy China" strategy in the field of urology.  They pledged to continue playing an academic leadership and bridging role by regularly organizing a series of academic activities, continuously contributing to the improvement of regional medical service capabilities in urology and benefiting patients. "
