This conference invited renowned plastic surgery experts from within and outside the region to discuss the development of plastic surgery disciplines and the enhancement of professional skills in the field. The conference covered specialized topics such as oculoplastic surgery, rhinoplasty, scar repair, and private plastic surgery, with in-depth analyses of the unique knowledge systems and cutting-edge advancements in each area.

Additionally, the conference gathered prominent experts in the healthcare and wellness sector and the medical aesthetics industry to focus on multi-sector academic forums, discussing new trends in the healthy development of the medical aesthetics industry and sharing an extraordinary academic feast.

On December 14,2025,110 participants from 71 institutions across the province attended the first Plasty Surgery Committee Transition Conference.

Professor Tang Yong presented a report on the work of the first Plasty Surgery Committee, which received unanimous recognition from the committee members.

Professor Wu Dongmei summarized the series of tasks carried out by the transition preparation group of the first Plasty Surgery Committee.

Subsequently, the conference deliberated and democratically elected the leadership team, including the committee chairperson, vice-chairpersons, and standing committee members.

Professor Wu Dongmei from West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University was elected as the Chairperson of the Committee. Professor Chen Zhibing from Chengdu Second People's Hospital, Professor Jiang Yulu from Jiadian Medical Aesthetic Hospital, Professor Miao Yali from West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Qin Xiao from Chengdu Third People's Hospital, Professor Tang Yong from the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Xiang Xiaoyan from the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College, Professor Yang Gaining from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Zhang Xiangyun from West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, and Professor Zhou Ke from Chengdu High-Tech Elephant Medical Aesthetic Hospital were elected as Vice Chairpersons of the Committee (in alphabetical order of their surnames). Thirty-six professors were elected as Standing Committee Members.

Subsequently, with the successful completion of the first election for the Plastic Surgery Committee, appointment letters were presented to the former Chairperson, Advisors, Chairpersons, and Vice Chairpersons of the Committee.

The newly elected Chairperson, Professor Wu Dongmei, expressed gratitude for the trust and guidance from the leadership of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, which provided direction for the Committee's work. She thanked the first Chairperson of the Committee, Professor Tang Yong, and all committee members, while also acknowledging the hard work of the conference organizing committee and the trust of all committee members. She emphasized that this recognition would be the "most valuable motivation" for future work.

She pointed out that under the guidance of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, the new Committee would focus on multiple dimensions to promote the high-quality development of regional plastic surgery medicine.

With firm determination and practical planning, the second session of the Plastic Surgery Committee officially commenced.

The meeting also announced the approval for establishing the Party Working Group of the Second Plastic Surgery Committee. Among the 65 Party members of the committee, after recommendations and discussions, the Party branch of the association agreed to appoint Comrade Zhang Xiangyun as the group leader, Comrade Chen Zhibing to oversee disciplinary inspection and organizational work, and Comrade Hu Qian to handle publicity.

At the meeting, Comrade Hu Qian led all committee members in studying the document "Collaborative Promotion of Scientific Legislation, Strict Law Enforcement, Fair Justice, and Universal Compliance with Laws."

      Professor Xiao Xue, Vice President of West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, delivered a speech at the conference, extending warm congratulations on the establishment of the Second Plastic Surgery Committee of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association.

Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General Ai He of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, speaking on behalf of the association, stated: "The leadership transition is not only a change of team but also a continuation of our mission.

We hope the new team will take this transition as a starting point to build a regional innovation hub for plastic surgery medicine."

Since its establishment, Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association has consistently adhered to the work philosophy of "strengthening grassroots efforts and promoting transformation," advocating the professional principles of "acquiring extensive knowledge to become a physician, cultivating virtue to practice medicine, and exercising caution in medical practice," while fully advancing medical science innovation and academic exchanges.

Vice President Ai He wished the academic conference of the Plastic Surgery Committee a complete success, encouraging everyone to cherish the opportunity for learning and exchange in the field of plastic surgery, earnestly absorb the cutting-edge knowledge and technical expertise shared by experts, actively participate in discussions, and collectively seek development.

Subsequently, under the participation and witness of numerous leaders and guests, the Fourth Academic Conference of the Plastic Surgery Committee of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association was successfully inaugurated.
