The "Second Orthopedics Professional Committee Re-election Conference and 2025 Academic Conference", jointly organized by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and Chengdu First People's Hospital and hosted by the Orthopedics Specialized Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, was held in Chengdu on November 1, 2025. The re-election conference, through deliberation, democratically elected the chairperson, vice-chairpersons and standing committee members of the special committee. Professor Li Qi from West China Hospital of Sichuan University serves as the honorary chairperson of the special committee, and Professor Chen Zhichao from Chengdu First People's Hospital was elected as the chairperson of the special committee. Professor Lin Shu from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Ma Hongbing from Chengdu Second People's Hospital, Professor Ye Ye from Sichuan Provincial Orthopedic Hospital, Professor Tang Shitian from Mianyang Central Hospital, Professor Zhao Liyong from Sichuan Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Xiao Guoqing from 416 Hospital of Nuclear Industry, Professor Zeng Jianwei from Chengdu First People's Hospital, Professor Tang Xiaoyu from Chengdu First Orthopedic Hospital, and Chengdu Xindu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Professor Huang Xiaorong, Professor Wei Li from the First People's Hospital of Yibin City, and Professor Li Xuanming from Ya 'an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were elected as deputy chairpersons of the special committee.
At the meeting, the approval for the establishment of the Party Working Group of the second Orthopedics Professional Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was read out. Among the 79 Party members of the professional committee, after recommendation and discussion, the society agreed that Chen Zhichao, Zeng Jianwei and Zhang Zhiwei would form the Party Working group of the professional committee. Among them, Chen Zhichao would serve as the group leader, and Zeng Jianwei would be responsible for discipline inspection and organizational work. Comrade Zhang Zhiwei is in charge of publicity work. At the meeting, Comrade Zeng Jianwei led all the committee members to study the Party lesson.
After the founding conference, the academic conference officially kicked off. Professor Gu Zuchao from Chengdu First People's Hospital, Professor Li Qi from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Zhang Hong from the Fourth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital, Vice President Li Weidong of Chengdu First People's Hospital, and Professor Ai He, Vice President and Deputy secretary-general of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
