"Charting a New Blueprint for Cell Biology, Embarking on a New Journey of Industrial Development" — The 15th Cell Biology Industry Conference & The 6th International Conference on Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Concluded Successfully

From March 5 to 6, 2026, the 15th Cell Biology Industry Conference and the 6th International Conference on Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine, jointly hosted by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and Zhenghé Exhibition Group, concluded successfully in Chengdu. The 8th International Functional Medicine & Longevity Technology Innovation Conference was held concurrently.

Distinguished guests from government, industry, academia, research, and medical institutions gathered in Chengdu to discuss the high-quality development path of the cell biology and functional medicine industries. In the lead-up to the implementation of State Council Document No. 818, the conference provided in-depth interpretations of emerging trends and transformative directions in the industry.

Closely aligned with policy guidance, the conference focused on core areas including the CGT industry, CMC processes, cell therapy, regenerative medicine, international chronic disease management, immunoassays, longevity technology, gut microbiome, AI technology, and international nutraceuticals. It brought together participants from government, industry, academia, research, and medical sectors, with over 100 high-quality enterprises across the industrial chain exhibiting at the event. The conference successfully established a platform for technical exchange and resource collaboration, pooling momentum from Southwest China to drive the high-quality development of the cell biology and functional medicine industries.

At the opening ceremony, speeches were delivered respectively by Niu Song, General Manager of Zhenghé Exhibition Group; An Qu, President of Sichuan Hospital Association; and Zeng Bin, Secretary-General of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. Each shared insightful remarks centered on the conference's theme and development vision.

The conference forums featured specialized sessions on the innovative wave of cell therapy: technological breakthroughs and clinical translation; clinical applications of cell technology and innovations in tumor prevention and treatment; frontiers of regenerative medicine: clinical translation and industrial innovation driven by iPSCs and exosomes; and stem cells from basic research to clinical applications. These sessions offered in-depth discussions on the deep integration and practical application of cutting-edge technologies within the cell biology industry.

The conference also hosted exhibition zones for the cell industry and functional medicine, covering core sectors of the industrial chain. Numerous enterprises showcased their key products, technologies, and solutions, demonstrating the industry's innovative vitality. Over 5,000 professional attendees visited the exhibition for exchanges and collaboration.

The successful conclusion of the 15th Cell Biology Industry Conference and the 6th International Conference on Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine marks a new milestone in academic exchange and industrial collaboration in the field of cell biology.
