To implement the relevant requirements outlined in the “Notice from the Chengdu Municipal Health Commission on Organizing Applications for 2026 Chengdu Medical Research Projects,” the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association held the “Chengdu High-Tech Zone 2026 Medical Research Project Application Training Session” on March 3, 2026. This training session aimed to enhance the scientific research and innovation capabilities of healthcare institutions within the region and improve the quality of project applications, thereby promoting the standardization and scientific rigor of municipal-level research project applications and contributing to the high-quality development of scientific research in the High-Tech Zone.

The training featured a keynote presentation by Professor Ai He, Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General of the Association. Secretary-General Ai provided an in-depth explanation of the core framework of clinical research design, covering the principles for selecting research types, the fundamental elements of design, and implementation standards. Drawing on typical case studies, she analyzed common pitfalls and key considerations, helping participants develop a systematic approach to research design. Through an interactive Q&A session, she addressed both common issues and individual concerns encountered by participants in their clinical research practices.
Participants noted that the training content was practical, instructive, and applicable, effectively addressing both common and individual challenges in research practice. They emphasized that the session provided significant insights for enhancing research standardization and fostering scientific thinking.
