From July 10 to 12, the Fwellness 2026 International Future Health Industry Ecosystem Brand Expo kicked off grandly in Chengdu with the theme 'Health Empowers All Industries, Brands Pay Tribute to the Future.' The expo deeply implements General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on building a Healthy China, actively responds to policies like the 'Healthy China 2030' Planning Outline and the 'Special Action Plan for Promoting Health Consumption' jointly issued by the Ministry of Commerce and 12 other departments, and directly aligns with the national 'Healthy China' strategy and the '15th Five-Year Plan for National Health.' It fully supports the construction of Health Sichuan and the high-quality development of the province's big health industry, exploring new economic opportunities and missions in the health industry. The expo focuses on four core directions: industry iteration, empowering physical enterprises, improving consumer quality, and brand upgrading, making it a major event in Western China in 2026 with high standards, complete business formats, and significant international influence, attracting attention in the health consumption sector.
During the preparation phase of this expo, the team emphasized high-level planning, systematic layout, and precise execution, addressing structural weaknesses in Western health expos such as being 'heavy on s
ales, light on ecosystem, focusing on products rather than brands, and prioritizing short-term over long-term.' The organizing committee, jointly established by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, Sichuan Health Care Association, China Urban Commerce Federation Silver Age Working Committee, Sichuan Tourism Investment Group Supply Chain, and Shanghai Lilai Exhibition Services Co., Ltd., under the comprehensive guidance of the China Urban Commercial Network Construction and Management Association, conducted extensive industry research, categorized specialized sectors, and carried out targeted business recruitment. The expo systematically focused on core sectors such as emotional health, the silver economy, chronic disease management, sleep health, traditional Chinese medicine innovation, reproductive health, and cross-border health cooperation, covering the entire health industry chain.

Currently, the domestic health and wellness industry is entering a critical period of transformation and upgrading, with prominent pain points on both the industry and consumer sides, restricting high-quality development of the sector. On the industry side, there are common problems such as severe homogenized competition, fragmented business formats, and weak service capabilities. Most enterprises rely on single-product sales and lack systematic, scenario-based, full-cycle health service capabilities, remaining long-term in a low-end cycle of "focusing on products while neglecting services, focusing on sales while neglecting solutions," which cannot adapt to the future trend of an ecological and integrated health industry. On the consumer side, there are shortcomings such as supply-demand mismatches, single supply, and lack of customized solutions. Residents’ health demands have upgraded to refined, personalized, and scenario-based full-life-cycle services, and traditional product-based supply cannot meet high-quality consumption needs, hindering the expansion and upgrading of health consumption.
In response to these structural industry pain points, this Expo breaks the traditional single model of "focusing on exhibition and sales while neglecting empowerment" and leads the industry from single-product price competition to accelerated iteration and upgrading toward integrated health solution services. The Expo integrates all elements of products, technology, services, research, capital, and channels, building an integrated empowerment system of "Products, Technology, Services, Solutions, Brand," focusing on segmented scenarios such as chronic disease management, travel wellness, elderly health, and sleep regulation, delivering complete, customized, full-cycle health solutions. At the same time, it standardizes industry order, optimizes industrial structure through branding, and improves the industry ecosystem through cross-industry integration, connecting a complete closed loop of "R&D—supply—scenario—service—consumption—iteration" to fundamentally solve challenges such as low-end competition, supply-demand mismatch, and single business formats, effectively activating new potential in health consumption and comprehensively leading high-quality industrial transformation.
The Expo adheres to serving the real economy as its foundation, precisely addressing development bottlenecks such as single-format offline health stores, traditional operations, weak services, and insufficient scenarios. By integrating full-chain supply chain resources, delivering standardized operation systems, and building precise supply-demand matching platforms, it comprehensively empowers terminal stores to iterate and upgrade, transforming traditional product-selling stores into comprehensive health service platforms that integrate health consultation, chronic disease intervention, wellness regulation, and quality consumption. Meanwhile, relying on Sichuan and Chongqing’s resource endowments, regional advantages, and ASEAN cooperation channels, it innovatively creates a new model integrating "Health, Cultural Tourism, Travel, and Wellness," deeply cultivating real consumption scenarios such as chronic disease rest, sub-health regulation, seasonal wellness, and elderly travel wellness. This continually enriches Sichuan’s wellness industry matrix, stimulates regional health consumption vitality, and helps expand and upgrade health consumption.
