On December 21, 2019, the founding meeting of the International Exchange Center (Professional Committee) for Medical Innovation and Specialty Development of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association was successfully held at the West China Campus of Sichuan University.

Minister Zhou Juqiao, member of the Medical Association of Chengdu High-tech Zone, chaired the election meeting.

After the Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Medical Innovation and development of the specialty medicine International Exchange Center (Professional Committee) Jiang Lan, head of the preparatory group reported on preparations for the center to the General Assembly, in accordance with the "Chengdu Hi-tech Zone academic organization and management approach Medical Association" established procedures Democratic elections. The meeting elected 71 members of the Medical Innovation and Specialty Development International Exchange Center (Professional Committee) of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association, including 1 chairman, 1 candidate chairman, 5 deputy directors, and 22 standing members.

Comrade Wen Jin, deputy director of the Hospital Management Institute of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, was elected as the chairman, and Wang Dongchuan, the chief physician of the Hospital Management Institute of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, was elected as the director-elect, Wang Bin of Tibet Fukang Medical Co., Ltd. Ai He from the Medical Association, Xiao Qiqiang from the Hospital Management Institute of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Zhao Lingli from Chengdu Minsheng Gospel Otolaryngology Specialty Hospital, and Xie Jianqiang from Sichuan Provincial Rongjun Hospital were elected as deputy directors.

The newly elected chairman, Professor Wen Jin, made a statement and organized everyone to discuss the work plan of the first center.

On behalf of the Society, Secretary of the Medical Association of Chengdu High-tech Zone He Yuliang held a ceremony and delivered a speech to the International Center for Medical Innovation and Specialty Development (Professional Committee). He said: I am full of expectations for the prospect of the International Exchange Center for Medical Innovation and Specialty Development, and hope that the center will continue to grow and develop under the joint efforts of everyone. The establishment of the International Exchange Center for Medical Innovation and Specialty Development (Professional Committee) of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Medical Association is another innovative work of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. I believe that under the active work of all members, we will definitely be able to do better in medical innovation and specialty development, make more contributions to Sichuan, Chengdu, and high-tech zones, and promote the industrial landing!

 
After the inaugural meeting, the International Exchange Center for Medical Innovation and Specialty Development organized study tours in Taiwan and the US Representatives of study tours enthusiastically spoke and exchanged ideas enthusiastically.
