On June 12, 2020, the "Basic CRRT Appropriate Technology Promotion Conference" sponsored by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was successfully held. This kick-off meeting invites well-known nephrologists in Sichuan Province to share academic exchanges and exchanges online, attracting more than 600 medical professionals and other related medical professionals to participate in this kick-off meeting.

The purpose of this meeting is to strengthen primary medical institutions' understanding of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) compared to intermittent renal replacement therapy (IRRT), and to focus on improving the technical level of treatment of critically ill patients in primary hospitals.

Professor Fu Ping, director of the Department of Nephrology, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and Jiang Dawei, deputy secretary-general of the China National Health Association, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the "CRRT Appropriate Technology Promotion Launch Ceremony" respectively. The three experts of Deputy Director Yan Bin of the People's Hospital conducted wonderful lectures and online questions and answers on the three themes of "Application of Citrate Anticoagulation in CRRT", "CRRT Capacity Management" and "CRRT Basic Prescription Settings".

Finally, Director Cao Fang of the First People's Hospital of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture summarized this online kick-off meeting. She said that the successful launch of this online start-up meeting helped to help primary medical institutions find new opportunities for treatment, strengthened the massive application of CRRT technology, and played a positive role in improving the survival rate of critically ill patients.
