On December 28th, 2019, the 2019 annual working meeting of Pediatric Branch of Medical Association of Chengdu High-tech Zone was successfully held. Minister Hou Jun of academic Department of Medical Association of Chengdu High-tech Zone presided over the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Hou Jun introduced the situation of promoting the functional area of biomedicine industry in Chengdu High-tech Zone to enhance regional competitiveness. He said that in the next step, the high-tech zone will take the construction of Tianfu International Biological City as an important starting point to build a modern biological industry system with international competitiveness and regional impetus. All members of the zone are welcome to invite relevant experts and professors to the high-tech zone for academic exchanges, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Professor Xiang Long, chairman of the Committee, delivered a report on the pediatric Branch's work summary in 2019 and work plan in 2020. He mentioned that in 2019, we successfully completed the establishment of the first committee, the Standing Committee and various international and national conferences with great academic influence, which is inseparable from the cordial care of the medical Association leaders and the strong support of each standing committee member. In 2020, we will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, both at home and abroad, inside and outside of the introduction of more advanced ideas and experience, to create more high-quality specialized brand, enhance pediatric branch professional influence ability, scientific research and information management, under the guidance of medical association do not forget to beginner's mind, keep in mind the mission, strong base, promoting development, pediatric branch progresses day by day.
Party group leader Hu Wenguang led all the members to learn the spirit of the 19th Party Congress. He said: the construction of the 19 big report has been clear about the health of China, under this big background, the branch of pediatrics group was founded in July 2019, there are 39 people of party members, the priority is in accordance with the "don't forget the beginner's mind, keep in mind that the mission" theme education requirements, improve the political stance, under the leadership of the party committee of medicine, pediatric alliance was established through joint, early education base, maternal and child health care facilities, host a large free clinic, in such aspects as promoting the construction of infrastructure projects, innovation platform to explore pragmatic cooperation, achieve optimize medical resources and to protect children's health. It is hoped that through a series of activities such as continuing education training class and summit forum, the medical research level of pediatric branch will be comprehensively promoted to a new level.
Afterwards, all the members discussed the work report of 2019, the plan of the academic annual conference of 2020, the work plan of scientific research, the work plan of continuing education projects, the work plan of grassroots and poverty alleviation, the work of Party building, the work of public science popularization and other topics, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions. The committee members said that the achievements in 2019 under the leadership of the Medical Association are excellent. In 2020, we will actively cooperate with the Medical Association to ensure the smooth progress of all programs.
At last, Professor Xiang Long, chairman of the committee, made a summary of the meeting. He pointed out that all the work of the pediatric branch is progressing in an orderly way, and the active development of academic activities and scientific research activities is also conducive to the professional improvement of primary medical staff. In the future, we will focus on building the organizational structure of the club, so that every member can participate in the management of the club.
