On the afternoon of February 12, 2025, the Secretariat of Chengdu High tech Medical Association organized the second party government joint meeting of 2025, which was chaired by Comrade Zeng Bin, Secretary of the Party Branch, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Chengdu High tech Medical Association.
At the meeting, the party branch secretary conveyed and studied the spirit of the National Organization Ministerial Conference.
The meeting emphasized the need to conscientiously implement the spirit of the National Organization Ministers' Conference, persistently use the Party's innovative theories to build the heart and soul, closely integrate with the actual work of the society, solidly do a good job in Party building guidance, organizational construction, government commissioning, academic exchanges, health science popularization, innovation driven and other work, serve as the government's staff assistant, and assist in the high-quality development of the health industry in the whole region.
The meeting listened to and reviewed the work reports of various departments of the Secretariat of the Society for January 2025, the progress of key projects, and the work plan for February 2025. The meeting reviewed and approved the establishment of a special committee, convening academic conferences, personnel work, and other related issues.
The leaders of the Secretariat provided individual comments on the progress of each department's work and put forward specific requirements for the next steps of work:
One is to recognize the situation, seize opportunities, and meet challenges. At present, the society is in a critical period of development, facing both significant opportunities brought by the deepening implementation of the national science and technology innovation strategy and the rapid development of the medical and health industry, as well as challenges such as intensified industry competition and increased difficulty in resource integration. All departments should further enhance their political stance, strengthen their overall awareness, and deeply recognize the important mission of the society in serving medical technology innovation and promoting regional medical and health development. We must firmly uphold our development beliefs, clarify our goals and tasks, take the "14th Five Year Plan" as the guide, and strive to build the society into a nationally influential medical technology innovation service platform by the end of the "14th Five Year Plan", contributing greater strength to promoting medical technology progress and building a healthy China.
Secondly, we need to strengthen our sense of struggle and enhance our comprehensive abilities. All staff members should always maintain a high and upward spirit of struggle, firmly establish the crisis awareness of "if you don't advance, you will fall behind, and if you advance slowly, you will also fall behind", and actively adapt to the requirements of new situations and tasks. To continuously strengthen learning, enhance professional competence and comprehensive abilities, it is necessary to not only delve into cutting-edge knowledge in the medical field, but also master innovative work concepts and methods, and strive to become a versatile talent. All departments should strengthen collaboration and cooperation, form a working force, and promote the improvement of quality and efficiency of various work with higher standards and stricter requirements, ensuring that all tasks are implemented and effective.
Thirdly, we need to create a favorable environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. As an important promoter of medical technology innovation, the society should further optimize its institutional mechanisms, improve incentive policies, and build a broader innovation and entrepreneurship platform for its staff and members. To encourage innovative thinking, support entrepreneurial practice, actively explore new fields and models, and stimulate endogenous motivation and innovation vitality. At the same time, we need to strengthen cooperation with universities, research institutes, medical institutions, and enterprises, promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, facilitate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and inject new momentum into medical technology innovation. By creating a favorable environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, gathering development forces, and jointly creating a new situation of high-quality development for the society.
Finally, the meeting emphasized safety work, requiring all departments to strictly implement safety responsibilities, comprehensively investigate hidden dangers, strengthen safety training, enhance emergency response capabilities, maintain a safe and stable momentum, and provide solid guarantees for the development of the society.
