In order to further strengthen the awareness of fire safety, enhance the emergency response capabilities of all staff, and ensure the fire safety of the office building, after careful planning and preparation, Chengdu High tech Medical Association, together with Chengdu High tech Zone New North Community Health Service Center and Chengdu Jinxin Jiujiu Le Ai Elderly Care Service Co., Ltd., successfully held the "Fire Safety Training and Escape Emergency Drill" on April 14, 2025. All employees of the High tech Medical Association, relevant responsible comrades from the New North Community Health Service Center and Jinxin Jiujiu Le'ai Elderly Care Service Co., Ltd., participated in this event.
Before the formal start of the training activities, Comrade Zeng Bin, Secretary of the Party Branch, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Chengdu High tech Medical Association, gave a mobilization speech, emphasizing three aspects: firstly, we must have a clear understanding of the severe situation of frequent major fire accidents nationwide in recent times, and require all personnel to overcome complacency and always tighten the safety string; Secondly, it is clearly stated that "safety and fire prevention are everyone's responsibility", and every position is an important defense line for fire safety. It is necessary to not only do one's job well, but also fulfill safety responsibilities; Thirdly, the New North Community Health Service Center in Chengdu High tech Zone and Chengdu Jinxin Jiujiu Leyai Elderly Care Service Co., Ltd. work in the same building. We hope that both units can effectively shoulder their safety responsibilities and missions, establish a joint prevention and control mechanism with the Medical Association, and jointly maintain the overall safety and stability of the building.
During the training process, the fire instructor team carefully prepared a systematic teaching plan, with the course content centered on "theory+warning+practical operation". Firstly, on-site images of major fire accidents nationwide in recent years were displayed, especially surveillance video replays of fire cases in medical and elderly care institutions, to warn participants with bloody lessons. Subsequently, the instructor conducted a systematic explanation of six modules: traffic safety knowledge, basic fire knowledge, common fire hazards in workplace offices, key points for extinguishing fires, emergency evacuation and self rescue skills, and safety precautions in daily life. The entire training process has both shocking case studies to deter and profound theoretical analysis, as well as hands-on practical guidance, achieving a dual effect of knowledge transmission and awareness enhancement.
After the training, with the sound of an alarm, the fire safety drill officially began. The staff quickly activated the emergency plan, and personnel from various departments followed the predetermined evacuation route, bent down in an orderly manner, and evacuated to a safe area, and gathered at the designated location. The entire evacuation process was tense and orderly, demonstrating the employees' excellent emergency response ability and teamwork spirit.
In the practical session, the instructor demonstrated the correct use of the fire extinguisher on site and used the four character mnemonic of "lift, pull, grip, and press" to help employees quickly memorize the operating steps. During this period, the instructor actively interacted with the staff, patiently answering various questions, greatly stimulating everyone's interest and enthusiasm for learning fire safety knowledge. All participating units' employees actively participated, and the on-site learning atmosphere was strong.
After the safety drill, the three instructors conducted a comprehensive fire inspection of the office areas of the society and the two participating units, focusing on identifying hidden dangers such as circuit safety, unobstructed fire exits, and equipment integrity. Three issues were rectified on site. The association has signed a "Fire Safety Responsibility Agreement" with the New North Community Health Service Center of Chengdu High tech Zone and Chengdu Jinxin Jiujiu Leai Elderly Care Service Co., Ltd., clarifying the establishment of a joint prevention and control mechanism and conducting regular safety inspections.
Through this training, the "four abilities" of all staff in fire prevention (checking and eliminating hidden dangers, extinguishing initial fires, organizing evacuation and escape, and promoting education and training) have been significantly improved, further consolidating the fire safety joint defense system of building and office institutions, and providing strong guarantees for creating a safe working environment.
