Immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and inflammatory bowel disease, are chronic and complex conditions that require multidisciplinary collaboration and long-term patient management. However, in clinical practice, inconsistencies in treatment protocols and insufficient doctor-patient communication may lead to poor patient adherence, suboptimal treatment outcomes, and even conflicts between healthcare providers and patients. To enhance standardized diagnosis and treatment for IMIDs, strengthen doctor-patient communication skills, and optimize patient management, the "Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment of Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases — Focusing on Doctor-Patient Communication" conference, hosted by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, was successfully held online on June 24, 2025.

This conference aimed to share cutting-edge treatment advances, exchange doctor-patient communication strategies, and analyze clinical cases to help physicians improve communication effectiveness within a standardized diagnostic and therapeutic framework. By fostering a trusting and collaborative doctor-patient relationship, the event sought to empower patients not only with scientifically precise treatment plans but also with a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms, encouraging active participation in medical decision-making. Ultimately, the conference aspired to achieve synchronized doctor-patient collaboration in disease management, leading to improved treatment efficacy and long-term patient outcomes—fulfilling its core objectives of "standardized care, optimized communication, and enhanced therapeutic results."
