Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic, inflammatory, systemic musculoskeletal disorder associated with psoriasis, significantly impacting patients' quality of life and physical function. Extensive research has demonstrated that early diagnosis and intervention are crucial for delaying disease progression, preventing structural joint damage, and improving long-term outcomes. To foster multidisciplinary exchange, promote new concepts and technologies in PsA prevention and treatment, and enhance the overall diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities for PsA within the province, it has been decided that the "Seminar on PsA Prevention and Early Management," organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Zone Medical Association, will be held online on September 18, 2025.
This conference brought together experts, scholars, and clinical physicians from rheumatology, dermatology, and related fields to focus on the latest advancements in PsA prevention and treatment, promoting the deepening and innovation of diagnostic and therapeutic concepts. The core objective of the seminar was to strengthen clinical awareness of "frontline prevention and early intervention," facilitate in-depth discussions on early identification tools, risk assessment models, and precision prevention and treatment strategies for PsA, and encourage the establishment and optimization of multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment models. By sharing the latest international guidelines, exchanging clinical实践经验 and research findings, the conference aimed to create a high-level platform for academic dialogue, promote the dissemination and implementation of new knowledge and technologies, and ultimately enhance the comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic abilities of healthcare professionals. This will enable the delivery of more timely, effective, and integrated medical services to patients, improve long-term outcomes and quality of life, effectively reduce the disease burden, and contribute to the Healthy China initiative.
