To strengthen grassroots physicians' clinical diagnosis and treatment capabilities for infectious diseases, improve diagnosis and treatment rates, enhance comprehensive management skills for skin diseases, and better serve patients, the "2025 Capacity Enhancement Workshop on Tuberculosis Specialized Diagnosis and Treatment in Ethnic Regions and the Capacity Enhancement Workshop on Anti-infective Fungal Detection," organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Zone Medical Association after thorough deliberation, was successfully convened on November 8, 2025.
This training aimed to closely address the practical needs of ethnic regions. Through systematic and cutting-edge theoretical instruction and practical guidance, it focused on enhancing frontline medical personnel's comprehensive capabilities in standardized diagnosis and treatment, precise prevention and control, and complication management of tuberculosis. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening the identification and operational proficiency in fungal detection—a critical aspect in the context of anti-infective therapy. We hope this initiative will not only forge a permanent team of professional backbone talents in ethnic regions, effectively reducing the burden of tuberculosis and safeguarding public health, but also establish a diagnostic and treatment team capable of addressing complex infectious diseases. This will collectively enhance the resilience and quality of regional healthcare services, contributing robust professional support to fortify the public health defense in ethnic regions and advance the Healthy China initiative.
