In order to further enhance the comprehensive clinical management capabilities of medical personnel in primary healthcare institutions across Sichuan Province regarding lung cancer, promote academic exchange and technology dissemination within the field of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment in the region, and continuously drive the high-quality development of lung cancer care at the primary level, the "Sichuan Academic Exchange on Enhancing Comprehensive Clinical Management of Lung Cancer in Primary Care Settings," organized by the Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association, is scheduled to be held online on November 10, 2025.
This conference aims to bring together experts and practitioners from both within and outside the province. Through in-depth discussions and experience sharing, it seeks to jointly advance the capacity building of primary healthcare institutions across the entire continuum of lung cancer care, including early screening, standardized diagnosis and treatment, long-term management, and patient-centered care. Currently, primary care serves as a critical link in the prevention and treatment network. Enhancing its diagnostic and therapeutic standards is of significant importance for shifting the focus of cancer prevention and treatment to the grassroots level, optimizing the regional allocation of medical resources, and improving patients' quality of life. This event hopes to establish a practical and open platform that facilitates the integration of new knowledge and technologies with the realities of primary care. It aims to help frontline healthcare workers update their concepts and master standardized practices, thereby enabling them to more effectively address the complex challenges in lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. Ultimately, this will benefit a broad population of patients and contribute solid clinical support and professional expertise to the construction of a Healthy Sichuan.
