On the afternoon of March 18, 2026, the 17th Meeting of the Standing Directors of the 2nd Council and the 6th General Assembly of Members of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association was grandly held in Chengdu High-Tech Zone. More than 100 participants, including standing directors and member representatives of the association, gathered together to discuss development plans. Relevant leaders and department heads of the Chengdu High-Tech Zone Bureau of Health were invited to attend and provide on-site guidance throughout the meeting.

The 17th Standing Directors' Meeting of the 2nd Council
The 17th Meeting of the Standing Directors of the 2nd Council strictly followed democratic procedures, and listened to and reviewed in order the 2025 Annual Work Report of the Association, the 2025 Annual Financial Report, 2025 Budget Implementation and 2026 Budget Draft Report, the 15th Five-Year Development Plan (Draft) of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, as well as the Recommended List of Advanced Collectives and Advanced Individuals for 2025.
The attending standing directors spoke highly of the solid work accomplished by the Association over the past year. They actively offered suggestions for the long-term development of the Association, putting forward targeted, practical and constructive opinions.

The 6th Members' General Assembly
The 6th Members' General Assembly grandly opened amid the solemn national anthem. Following statutory procedures in strict accordance with regulations, the assembly heard, deliberated and adopted the 2025 Annual Work Report of the Council, the 2025 Annual Financial Work Report, the Report on 2025 Budget Implementation and 2026 Budget Preparation, and the 2025 Annual Work Report of the Board of Supervisors. It also voted to pass the resolution on the 2025 annual work report.
Centering on core tasks, the meeting focused on hearing and reviewing the 15th Five-Year Development Plan (Draft) of Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, drawing a scientific blueprint and clarifying the direction for the high-quality development of the Association in the next five years.
Meanwhile, the assembly heard the Report on the Postponement of the Election for the 3rd Members' General Assembly and Council, and reviewed and approved major matters including the adjustment of the Deputy Secretary-General of the Board of Supervisors, the integration of internal departments, and the establishment of the Compliance and Legal Affairs Department, laying a solid foundation for the standardized development of the Association.
The official list of 2025 Advanced Collectives and Advanced Individuals was announced at the meeting, further pooling strong synergy for dedication and entrepreneurship.



At the meeting, relevant leading officials from Chengdu High-Tech Zone Bureau of Health delivered a speech. They spoke highly of the fruitful achievements made by the Association in the fields of health undertakings and biomedicine industry, and placed ardent expectations on its future development. It was pointed out that the establishment of the Association is a key measure to conform to the Healthy China Strategy and improve the regional public health system. The officials hoped that the Association would give full play to its role as a bridge and bond, gather professional wisdom from the industry, and promote in-depth integration of disciplines. It should inject strong impetus into enhancing regional disease prevention and control capacity, improving people’s health well-being, and empowering the high-quality development of the biomedicine industry. Meanwhile, full recognition was given to the remarkable achievements the Association made in the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, as well as its important contributions to the development of health undertakings and the biomedicine industry in Chengdu High-Tech Zone. The meeting emphasized that 2026 marks the starting year of the 15th Five-Year Plan and a brand-new beginning of the Standardized Management Year in Chengdu High-Tech Zone. It put forward four clear requirements for the work of the Association, pointing out the direction and providing guidelines for its future development.

Polish the "1+3" Party building brand, deepen the integration of Party building and professional work, and consolidate the foundational work. Strive to build a provincial-level model for Party building among social organizations, and drive high-quality development through high-standard Party building. 2 Adhere to Functional Orientation Closely focus on key priorities of health and healthcare work, give full play to the roles of policy transmission, industry promotion, quality assurance, public connection and industrial coordination, and take the initiative to serve the high-quality development of health undertakings. 3 Adhere to Innovation-driven Development Focus on medical-industry integration, strengthen collaborative platforms, and improve the innovation chain of "clinical practice — research tackling — achievement transformation". Further deepen industry-university-research cooperation and foster new business forms such as digital healthcare. Strengthen digital empowerment and talent support, promote the mutual reinforcement of innovation and standardization through the Standardized Management Year, and help the industry improve quality and efficiency. 4 Adhere to Strict Self-discipline Consolidate integrity accountability, improve the compliance system, strengthen risk prevention and control as well as discipline and work style, foster a clean and upright environment, consolidate the disciplinary defense line, and ensure steady and long-term development. Forging ahead yields fruitful achievements; galloping forward sets off on a new journey. After a decade of intensive cultivation and steady progress, Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association now stands at a brand-new starting point of development, ready to embark on a new chapter. Every solid leap forward embodies the sincerity and responsibility of all health and medical professionals; every courageous advance demonstrates the original aspiration and mission of the Association in serving the cause of health. At the new historical starting point of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the Association will join hands with all members, uphold the benevolence of medical practitioners and professional commitment. It will forge ahead resolutely on the grand journey of building a Healthy China and a Healthy Sichuan. Closely adhering to the work philosophy of strengthening grassroots development and promoting achievement transformation, the Association will strive to build an important medical core and health benchmark in the regional economic circle, and make new and greater contributions to boosting the high-quality development of health undertakings in Chengdu High-Tech Zone.
