On the morning of March 11, Song Geyang, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Sichuan University Science and Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd., led a delegation to visit the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association for work exchange.

Before the meeting, Feng Huaizhi, Director of the Med-Engineering Integration Collaborative Innovation Center of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, accompanied the visiting delegation on a tour of the projects incubated by the Med-Engineering Integration Collaborative Innovation Platform, and learned about the information and interim results of each project.

During the symposium, Zeng Bin, Executive Vice President, Party Branch Secretary, and Secretary General of the Medical Association, extended a warm welcome to the leadership delegation of Sichuan University Industry Group and provided a detailed introduction to the Medical Association's functional positioning, development plan, and scientific and technological achievements.

Secretary Song Geyang of Sichuan University Industry Group systematically introduced the group's industrial layout and development pathways. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the transformation and upgrading of university-run enterprises, the transfer of scientific and technological achievements, and the operation of incubation platforms.

In response to Secretary Song Geyang's mention of the group's internal development bottlenecks, Secretary General Zeng Bin put forward systematic suggestions from three dimensions: development planning, key directions, and structural optimization. At the same time, he outlined a clear implementation path for the incubator's operation: in the initial phase, focus on non-degree education and training to build momentum and create an open platform for resource matching; in the mid-term, concentrate on early-stage projects, securing talent and high-quality projects through public welfare donations, angel funds, and other means; and in the later phase, introduce the FA (financial advisor) model to connect with industrial capital, providing ongoing financial support for project development.

Both parties agreed that in the future, they can achieve close cooperation in areas such as organizational development, platform construction, and industrial development. By establishing a strategic partnership with the Sichuan University Industry Association, they will jointly build an integrated industry-academia-research-application incubation platform to promote collaborative project nurturing and achievement transformation. They will also carry out practical cooperation in areas such as exploring CRO/CDMO business models and compliance construction of biomedical laboratories, using innovative mechanisms to solve development challenges, deepening industry-academia-research integration, and contributing greater strength to regional technological innovation and industrial upgrading.
