In order to further promote academic exchanges in the field of nursing science, to showcase the latest achievements of nursing staff in clinical practice, management innovation, intelligent nursing, infection prevention and control, and to promote the high-quality development of the nursing industry, on August 22, 2026, the "Integration · Innovation · Empowerment · Leadership" Third Nursing Specialty Committee 2026 Academic Annual Conference, jointly organized by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, and the Chengdu High-tech Zone Nursing Quality Control Sub-center, was successfully held in Chengdu.

This meeting focused on topics such as nursing team management, nursing safety management, humanistic nursing services, and intelligent nursing. It shared cutting-edge research results and exchanged clinical practical experiences, building a bridge for the exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences among the attending nursing professionals. Through communication and discussion, it jointly contributed to the professionalization, intelligence, and humanization development of the nursing field.

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Jiang Xiujuan, the deputy director of the Third Nursing Specialty Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the vice president of Chengdu Second People's Hospital Affiliated to Sichuan University. Huang Luhui, the vice president of Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Yin Jun, the chairperson of the Third Nursing Specialty Committee, and Ai He, the deputy secretary-general of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, delivered speeches at the conference.

President Huang highly affirmed the past achievements of the third nursing committee. In the face of major public health incidents, nursing staff have demonstrated the essence of doctors through their professional qualities and responsibility. In the future, together with all the colleagues of the specialized committee, they will unite and concentrate their efforts to overcome difficulties and jointly write a brand-new chapter of high-quality development for the medical and nursing industry.

The deputy director of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, Ai He, stated in his speech: The progress of the discipline depends on the concerted efforts of all colleagues. We expect all experts to freely express their opinions at this annual meeting, share practical experiences and cutting-edge academic information. At the beginning of the afternoon meeting, Professor Yin Jun, the chairperson of the special committee, led all the committee members to conduct a Party lesson on "Establishing and Practicing the Correct View of Political Achievements". All the committee members listened attentively and deeply understood the content. They underwent a spiritual purification through this Party education and further strengthened their belief foundation and enhanced their sense of responsibility and commitment. Subsequently, Professor Yin Jun reported to the group on the work of the special committee in the past year and reviewed and summarized the achievements of the paper submission activity for this annual conference.

As a special part of the conference, the sharing and presentation of outstanding papers and cases were highly engaging. 20 young medical staff of the new generation shared their experiences during the presentations and conveyed their insights through interactions. This not only significantly enhanced the clinical reasoning and expression abilities of frontline healthcare workers, but also promoted the vigorous development of the discipline in an innovative way.

After a two-hour intense competition and the on-site scoring by the judges, Yang Ling from Chengdu Seventh People's Hospital and Hu Dongping from Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital won the first prize for the outstanding paper; Jin Yu from Chengdu Second People's Hospital Affiliated to Sichuan University and Li Xinyi from Chengdu Third People's Hospital won the first prize for the outstanding case.
