In order to improve the identification of patients with abnormal CKD blood pressure rhythm by primary nephrologists, precise adjustment of drugs to reduce the occurrence of various renal and cardiovascular events. The series of exchange meetings on diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and kidney disease hosted by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association were launched online on May 19 and 24, 2020. This series of meetings were invited to Professor Xia Niya, Professor Liu Chengfang, Qin Wei of West China Hospital of Sichuan University The professor was a guest in the online live broadcast room, attracting more than 300 related medical personnel.

During the meeting, Professor Xia Niaya gave a wonderful lecture mainly on the differences between the concepts and strategies of antihypertensive therapy, cardiovascular risk stratification, timing and programs of drug treatment, and blood pressure management of CKD patients in different countries; Professor Liu Chengfang He shared the wonderful content of how to effectively lower blood pressure and help hypertension patients reach the standard in 4 weeks; Professor Qin Wei conducted data analysis on the blood pressure management of hemodialysis patients and the effect of weight on hypertension patients.

This series of meetings also emphasized that the choice of antihypertensive drugs is also very important. It is difficult for hemodialysis patients to lower blood pressure. All antihypertensive drugs can be used for dialysis patients. The incidence of CVD events and mortality of dialysis patients will be reduced by drugs. After the lecture, the participants also connected experts on site to discuss and communicate the content of the lecture. At the end of the meeting, the participants said that the development of this series of meetings will help improve the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension by primary-level doctors, hoping to have more opportunities to participate in similar training.
